It has been a while since I updated this site so I thought I’d post these great tutorials on “How to Solder – the correct way”. This video is one of the best I have seen so far.
For a really good comparison of a good solder versus a bad one, check out NASA’s Workmanship Guide. The NASA “THROUGH-HOLE SOLDERING GENERAL REQUIREMENTS” section shows photo’s of an acceptable solder joint and compares it to a badly soldered version here
Sparkfun in the USA supply electronics. I find them excellent to buy from when I need parts. They also have a very good section on various tutorials including Soldering. Check this link out here
There are many Arduino related sites now, but this one does have some really good projects on it. While not directly “Soldering” related, they have some great Arduino and the Lantronics Xport examples as well as a nice tutorial using a Canon 5D and the Arduino as a controller. Check out this.
